Another week has just flown by. It went way too fast. These week in review posts have more of my personal life in them as I would like you to get to know more about me. I always like to see into the lives of the people I follow and assume you are the same. If not, then, hey, just skip them and it won’t hurt my feelings at all 🙂
Something that was a little different this week than the norm is I was off the whole entire week! EEK! The company I work from home for got attacked and infected by malware and they had to shut the entire thing down for patient info safety. I don’t know if we’re getting paid for the time though and that’s the scary thought. Oh well, I’ve been imagining what it would be like to have a whole week off and now I know. The funny thing is I sat at my computer MORE than when I actually work trying to get this blog up and running. Yeah.
Speaking of the blog/website, it’s at least up and running. I’ve still got tons more stuff to do, but it’s not looking too bad. I got my first post up on Thursday and was so excited to finally get something on the blog. I’ve set up a Facebook page, a Twitter account, an Instagram account, and a Pinterest account all named after the blog so you can either search for Saving Pennies Blog on these sites to find me or on the home page my buttons are there that you can click on to find me. They sure could all use some love so hurry over there and sign up.
Oh yeah, and about signing up, I haven’t had time yet to set up an email list sign up option. I will have it soon though so watch for it.
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY everyone! Hope you have a great 4th of July with your family. I am so glad for our freedom and glad that I live in the U.S.A. I put my little dot painted rock out to celebrate LOL!
I love dot painting and will be sharing some of them with you from time to time. Here’s my little patriotic rock I made. I sell my dot paintings in my Etsy store here if you’re interested 🙂
One of the things I tackled this week was 50 pounds of rice. #WhatwasIthinking! Yeah. I bought this at a time when I was feeling like something was going to happen and it was imperative that I stock up. Well, I have it and it is a blessing, but it needed to be put in glass jars or something and put in the pantry. Only thing is I don’t have a pantry. Uh-huh. It’s still sitting on my table. I don’t know where to put it. The pics don’t show all of it as we had already eaten about a fourth of the bag.
I found out I LOVE homemade sausage McMuffins every. single. morning. Yep! I don’t get tired of them either. They are like soul satisfying food 🙂 (Watch for a blog post about this soon). They are so yummy, cheesy, melty, gooey kind of food.
Psalm 67: 1
God be merciful unto us and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us.
Everyone have a wonderful Sunday.
I would love to read your comments about how your week went too!
